Phuket Wedding Celebrant · Peter Notley
Warm, relaxed wedding ceremonies shaped around you — on Phuket beaches, at beautiful resorts, private villas and other unforgettable island settings.

Your ceremony, your way
For many couples, the legal paperwork and the moment they truly feel married are two very different things. A Phuket ceremony gives you the freedom to create the emotional part around your own promises, personalities, family and friends.
I guide the ceremony from beginning to end, but it does not have to feel formal or generic. You can use your own vows, include a meaningful reading, involve children or family members, exchange rings, add a sand ceremony or keep everything beautifully simple. The aim is always the same: for the words to feel right when you are standing there together.
Built around the two of you

Invite a friend or family member to read, present the rings or take part in another meaningful moment.
Exchange rings, include a sand ceremony, sign a ceremonial certificate or keep the ceremony deliberately simple.

Weddings across Phuket
Most ceremonies take place on or beside a beach, but Phuket offers far more than one style of wedding. Luxury resorts, sea-view villas, private gardens and cliffside settings can all create very different atmospheres.
Because I am based here, I am familiar with the practical realities too: tropical weather, wind, ceremony timing, venue layouts, wedding planners and the small details that can make an outdoor ceremony flow smoothly.

Peter Notley has called Phuket home since 1993. Since beginning his celebrant work in late 2014, he has helped more than 750 couples mark their commitment in over 50 locations around the island and nearby.
That experience matters. It means knowing when to guide, when to keep things moving and when to let a moment simply happen.

Legal registration
A celebrant-led wedding ceremony and a legal marriage registration are separate processes in Thailand. Foreign couples can register a marriage here, but the documents and certification steps can differ according to nationality and personal circumstances.
Read the current registration guide →That is very common. Many couples complete the legal paperwork before or after travelling and use their Phuket ceremony for the promises, celebration and memories they want to share with family and friends.
